Mask Hysteria in Vaccination Nation — Mickey Z.

Planet Fitness is now mask-optional. I can blissfully work out each morning with dozens of other people — all of us sweating and breathing heavily — many without masks. Meanwhile, a friend of mine told me she can’t go see her favorite comedian because his upcoming show is “vaccinated-only.” Does that mean Covid has a grudge against humor? If so, would Planet Fitness suddenly become dangerous if I told a few jokes while I exercised? 

Let’s say every single person who went to the “vaccinated-only” comedy show chose to eat at a local restaurant afterward. Let’s also say that my un-vaccinated friend happened to be sitting in that same restaurant — eating at her table without a mask, like everyone else. Is she inexplicably no longer a threat to those who obediently lined up for an experimental jab? If the comedian from the comedy show walked into the restaurant and decided to try out some new material, would my friend be asked to leave? If not, why was she barred from the comedy venue in the first place? 

Do you recognize the madness being perpetrated under the guise of “safety”? Even if I wanted to “trust the science,” I can’t find any of it (anywhere) to snuggle up with. How much more do you need to see before you realize there is NONE of your beloved “science” involved in what’s going on?
